Personal concerns are used in Conjure work to link the target to the work. In other words they
give the work something to grab onto. Conjure work can be done with just a petition paper but
this is a weak work and probably will have little success. Next to body fluids I think hair from
the crown of the head or a picture of the target is the strongest. I was raised to believe that when
someone takes your picture they capture a piece of your spirit in the picture. So for me capturing

Menstrual Blood
A woman feeding their men menstrual blood to tie their men down is as old as Conjure. The
menstrual blood is deployed either in food or a drink. Some root worker’s claim the blood needs
to be fresh, while other Conjure workers claim it can be used dry. I personally don’t think that it
matters one way or another. Once the blood is digested the deed is done. Most of the time a
Conjure worker will advise the women to soak the dried blood in some water then add that water
to the food or beverage she is serving her man.
A lot of men want eat any food that is red that their girl serves them for fear she maybe feeding
them her blood. Well fellas let me give you a little advice; any good Conjure worker will have
more tricks up their sleeves than stirring the blood in a red sauce. For those of you who don’t
know; when a man is fed a woman’s menstrual blood it binds or ties that man to the women. The
only way I know to cure this binding is a Cut & Remove along with a good spiritual cleansing.
Semen
Many times a Conjure worker will instruct their female client to collect the semen from their
male partners. Once the semen is collected it can be used to tie the targets nature, the semen
can also be used to bind the target to the client and much more. There are many works a
Conjure worker can share with their client utilizing the use of semen in love work.
Chamber Lye
Many Conjure workers will instruct their clients to use their chamber lye in bottle spells for
protection, to draw money into their homes and also in enemy works. I personally do not use my
chamber lye in any types of works; but like everything else each Rootworker has their own way
of working. The basic idea of using your chamber lye in rootwork is the same as “a dog marking
his spot”. We each have to work the way we feel comfortable working.
