We run into all types of folks while we are out and about our daily lives. Sometimes these folks
don't have our best interest at heart. Make yourself a protection mojo to carry. Here are the
items that you will need to put your protection Mojo bags are nothing more than a container
work that is placed inside a red flannel bag.
Things needed:
St. Michael vigil
a red flannel bag
Angelica root
devil shoestring
devil's bit
frankincense
personal concerns
Fiery wall of protection oil
First off let me say that I know some will say that number four is not used in hoodoo, so he for
this can happen let me explain to talk about the number four. I was taught that the number
four represents the crossroads, when you add your personal concerns this makes a total of five
items in the mojo bag. So you have four roots and herbs that stand for the crossroads then when
you add your personal concerns this places you as the number five. This represents the four
corners of the crossroads with you at the center. I was taught to work this way many many
years ago and have always followed this rule with a few exceptions.
Set up a space to work, clean and dress your vigil. Lay out all your items that will go into your
protection mojo bag on my white cloth. Take your fire wall of protection oil and dress the four
corners of your mojo bag and placed across in the center of the bag. Make sure you were saying
your prayers and your petition while you are doing this. Once you have this done petition Saint
Michael and light his vigil. Petition St. Michael to place a fiery wall of protection around you.
Place your hands over each of your roots and herbs; then petition St. Michael to fill them with
his power, petition hand him to keep all your enemies away from you and to hold them down
like he did the demon under his feet. Once you have done this with each item that will be placed
in your mojo bag, it is then time to put the mojo bag together.
Once you have prayed over all your items they are now ready to add to your protection mojo
bag. As you place each item in your mojo bag continue to pray and petition St. Michael for his
protection. Once you have all the items into your mojo bag; hold the mojo bag up close to your
mouth so your breath goes inside the bag as to pray. Repeat your petition to St. Michael. Do this
step three times, then close your bag; feed your bag some whiskey and firey wall protection oil.
Your protection mojo bag is ready for you to carry on, go to St. Michael daily and petition him
for his protection as long as his vigil burns. Don't forget to keep your protection mojo fed. Once
a month you need to go to St. Michael and petition him to keep this fire wall of protection
around you.
Since this mojo bag is dedicated to St. Michael you can sew a small sword that has been
empowered by St. Michael or you can sew a St. Michael medal on your protection mojo bag.
